This hour long vigorous vinyasa class has everything you could hope for in a true, traditional yoga work-out. We will build heat in the first 15 minutes with an "add on" sequence (starts with one pose, turns into 6), and maintain our inner fire with options for arm balances and inversions topped off with a fun and playful backbend series and a juicy closing stretch.
50 Min Flow -"Feel Good Inc" - Level 2
I walked into a gym the other day to do some cardio, and when I got there, I thought-who am I kidding? I have 1 hour to exercise and the hell if I think I'm using that time doing cardio! So i rolled out my yoga mat and had the most sweaty, smooth and delicious practice ever. I was reminded why I love this practice, because it just. feels. so. damn. good. This 50 minute flow has sun salutations, flow-on-your-own sequences, core, inversions, backbends and all the ingredients you need to feel strong, open and ready to recieve.
60 Min Flow - "Twist, Float and Fly" - Level 3
This practice is not for the weak and wary! IF you're feeling super strong and motivated, this. is. the. practice. for. you. today! We will start with our predictable sun A and Sun B, but nothing after that will be very easy to predict. Brace yourselves for some new core work, crow, side crow, and eka pada koundenyasana 1 AND 2! Learn how to do some of these arm balances from tripod headstand. Make sure you do this while someone else is home, in case you go SPLAT!
60 Min Flow - "Backbends" - Level 2
This Vinyasa Flow class will subtly weave in backbends throughout so that you never feel overloaded or overwhelmed. Remember that toning your core, strengthening your spine and stretching your quads are all of the ingredients to make up a healthy recipe for a lifelong backbend practice.
